Simplified Loader’s Projects Template is a fully integrated Spreadsheet with Oracle Fusion, which allows searching, creating, and updating project details. Project Template allows to create Project header, Team Members, Classifications, update Project Status and DFF.
Users of the Oracle Fusion PPM module can utilize Simplified Loader’s Excel Templates to download or upload Projects from Excel to Oracle Fusion. Excel Template provides a feature-rich interface and allows management of all information required for Project creation from within the Spreadsheet. Excel Template provides a list of values for Project Template, Organization, Service Type, etc. The Template offers full support to change Project Status, add or update Classifications, or load DFFs.
Project Template is best suited for both centralized Project creation process or Data Migration. Simplified Loader Excel Template can be distributed to users who wish to create projects for organizations using centralized Project creation processes. The portable nature of Simplified Loader Excel sheets makes it possible to distribute the file to any user (inside or outside your organization) who wishes to request Project creation. The person providing input details can utilize the offline features of Simplified Loader Template to enter and validate data without connecting to Oracle Fusion. When a centralized project creation team receives Projects data, they can use the file (without a need to copy-paste data from one Excel file to another) to upload projects from Excel to Oracle Fusion.

Creating projects using Simplified Loader Template is as simple as entering the source Project Template, the Project Name, and Project Number. The Project can be created with one or many team members, DFF, and Classifications. Create Project operation validates data before performing the upload. In the case of a validation failure, the error is reported back in the Spreadsheet in real-time. When processing multiple Project records from Simplified Loader Template, the Template marks each Project with Success or Failed status.
Users can download Project Header data from Oracle Fusion based on a custom search condition. The download function supports filtering Project based on Project Number, Project Name, Organization, etc.
Update Project Header
Once project data is downloaded, the users can change project information in the Spreadsheet before uploading it back into Oracle Fusion. Fields such as Project Description, Service Type, Start Date, End Date, etc., can be updated using the Update Project Header operation.
Update Project Status
The user can update the Project status on several projects with a single click. Updating Project status allows adding status change comments.
Update Project Classification
Using the Update Project Classification operation, the user can either add a new classification or update an existing classification value. Update Project Classification supports adding Classification DFF values.
Update Project DFF
Update Project DFF button is an extension to the Update Project Header functionality. This operation allows updating the Project Name, Project Organization, and Project DFFs.

The user must have Project Integration Specialist (ORA_PJF_PROJECT_INTEGRATION_SPECIALIST_JOB) role to upload transactions.
