Simplified Loader’s Tasks Template is a fully integrated Spreadsheet with Oracle Fusion, allowing users to download, create, and update Task details. Project Template also enables us to create/update/delete Tasks, Transaction Controls, and DFFs.

Users of the Oracle Fusion PPM module can utilize Simplified Loader’s Excel Templates to download or upload Tasks from Excel to Oracle Fusion. Excel Template provides a feature-rich interface and allows management of all information required for Project creation from within the Spreadsheet. Excel Template provides a list of values for fields like Organization, Service Type, etc. The Template offers full support to work with Transaction Controls and Task DFFs.

Project Task Template is best suited for both centralized task creation processes or Data Migration. Simplified Loader Excel Template can be distributed to the users who wish to create tasks for organizations using centralized task creation processes. The portable nature of Simplified Loader Excel sheets makes it possible to distribute the file to any user (inside or outside your organization) who wishes to supply Task details. The person providing input data can utilize the offline features of the Simplified Loader Template to enter and validate data. When the centralized task creation team receives Tasks data, they can use the same file (without a need to copy-paste data from one Excel file to another) to upload Tasks from Excel to Oracle Fusion.

Create Task Structure

The Create Task Structure button allows adding a Task Structure to a project in Oracle Fusion. This functionality is used on newly created projects, i.e., projects where Task structures have not yet been created before on a Project. Create Task Structure operation validates data before performing the upload. In case of errors, this operation provides the details of rejection. Failed transactions can be modified and resubmitted to Oracle Fusion.

Download Tasks

Simplified Loader Templates allow downloading Task data from Oracle Fusion. This feature comes in handy when there is a need to perform an update on an existing Task. The Tasks are downloaded based on the Project Number.

Update Task Structure

Update Task Structure operation is similar to Create Task Structure. This operation is used to add new Tasks to an existing Task Structure.

Update Tasks

After downloading the Task details, use the Update Tasks operation to send the updates made in the Spreadsheet back to Oracle Fusion. The Update Task functionality supports the same fields as Create Task Structure or Update Task Structure operations.

Update Task DFF

Update Task DFF allows updating DFF values on the Task.

Delete Tasks

Delete Tasks functionality allows you to delete one or more Tasks from the Spreadsheet.

Populate Task Details

Populate Task Details operation download Task Details based on the Project and Task Number.

Get Project ID

Certain operations in the Task Template require Project ID. Get Project ID operation populates Project ID using Project Number entered in the Spreadsheet.
